Volatile oil containing furfural. Triterpenoids - iriversical, beta-sitosterol. Tannin, Alkaloid. Iridin, a bitter glycoside. Salicylic, lauric and isophthalic acids. Sterols, gums.

Uses:

It helps clear the lymph system and is used for the treatment of obesity. it is used to aid with skin conditions like eczema, and psoriasis. For these conditions it can also be used externally in creams, ointments and lotions. It aids the liver in detoxing the body.
